Overview of Cauliflower:
This high-yielding hybrid Cauliflower is self-blanching and self-contained. A thick leaf cover protects its pure white head. The seedlings in this hybrid are exceptionally vigorous. Regardless of when they are harvested, they produce good-quality medium-sized heads. Moderately tolerant to frost.
Benefits of Use Cauliflower
Cauliflower can be prepared in numerous different ways, and its flavour acts as a canvas for aromatics and spices. It pairs particularly well with salty ingredients such as anchovies, olives, and capers, as well as smoky bacon and speck. Cauliflower is also a great companion to cream, butter, eggs, and nuts. In addition to being high in fibre and B vitamins, it is a cruciferous vegetable. The result is that it contains antioxidants and phytonutrients that can help fight cancer.
How to Care & Sow Cauliflower
Nearly five weeks before the average last frost, cauliflower seeds should be planted indoors—water thoroughly after sowing your seeds in fertile soil. Sow your seeds in fertile soil at a depth of half an inch. Keep the bases covered with plastic until they sprout. It usually takes approximately eight days for cauliflower seeds to germinate. Once the seedlings have appeared, ensure that the soil stays evenly moist. Remove the plastic when the sources have appeared.
Before the last frost, transplant seedlings outdoors. It's important to harden them off carefully first as they are still sensitive to cold. Then bring them inside after about an hour of being outside, away from the wind. Continue this daily for an hour at a time. If the weather is freezing, skip a day.
