How to sow and care for Mix Flower Cosmos Seeds

Cosmos generally prefer full sun, except in very hot weather, when part shade is tolerated. Before planting, remove weeds from the soil. However, too much moisture can make the soil prone to disease. Soils prefer dry, arid environments over wet ones. Fertilize with nitrogen-free fertilizers to encourage foliage to grow more quickly than flower blossoms.

After the danger of frost is past, scatter seeds can be planted in the spring since sprouts will grow quickly. Be sure to keep watering until new blossoms form. Keep Cosmos upright by planting them together. Stabilize taller varieties if there is a lot of wind. Despite needing moisture when they are young, mature plants can adapt to drier conditions and need less water.
