Overview of F1 Red Cabbage
After preparation, the red cabbage is a kind of cabbage, also known as Blaukraut. A pigment called anthocyanins causes the plant to change colour depending on the pH of the soil. An acid soil produces more reddish leaves, neutral soil produces purple leaves, and alkaline soil produces greenish-yellow coloured cabbages. As a result, different regions call the same plant by other names. Africa is home to the greatest concentration, followed by Europe, America, and Asia.
More to love in F1 Red Cabbage:

Benefits of Red Cabbage
The colour red cabbage is created by anthocyanins, which are water-soluble and turn an unappealing blue when cooked. In addition to providing vitamin K, red cabbage also contains calcium, magnesium, and zinc, which are essential for bone health. Red cabbage is also high in fibre, which helps you digest your food and maintain a healthy digestive system.
How to sow and care for F1 Red Cabbage
Sow seeds in soilless mix four to six weeks before the last frost in your area. Plant the seeds just barely below the surface of the mixture and put the seeds on a heating mat that is set between 18 and 24 degrees Celsius. Provide the seedlings with 16 hours of direct sunlight or artificial light per day. This cabbage will germinate within 7-12 days. Replanting occurs when the seedlings have their first true leaves and a week before the last frost. The seeds should be refrigerated or placed in a greenhouse a week before planting.
Plant in a sunny spot with compost-rich, well-draining soil after a week. Red Express' compact heads can be planted closer together than other varieties because of their compact size. The planting distance should be between 38 and 46 cm. Leave 61-92 cm between rows. Fertilize the plants with fish or seaweed emulsion, along with well-amended soil. Keep the beds consistently moist when growing Red Express cabbage. A soil that is acidic may not work well for them, so lime should be added to the soil. Ensure the plants are thoroughly hydrated before transplanting them if it is dry weather.
