How to Care & Sow Ivory Eggplant

The ideal temperature for seed germination is between 75 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

The soil needs to be damp but not soggy for seeds and seedlings to survive. Moving the plants into the garden bed should be done 18 to 24 inches apart to make it easier for them to grow.

To grow healthy aubergines, they need full sun, six hours of daylight per day, and consistent moisture. Maintain moist soil with deep, slow waterings weekly or often during dry weather. Water the soil more if it feels dry during hot weather. 

Eggplants require roughly one inch of water per week. You won't need to fertilize eggplants if you amend the soil before planting. Remove weed seedlings as they emerge with a hoe or shallow weeder.
