Benefits of Herb Lavender Vera

Additionally, lavender is well known for its calming properties and can be made into soap, candles, and bath oils that can help you unwind and fall asleep at night. As an alternative to plug-ins or chemical air fresheners, you can place a few stems and use them as natural air fresheners. Lavender flowers and vegetable stock can be combined to create an outstanding sauce.

How to sow and care for Herb Lavender Vera Seeds

From February to July, it is ideal for sowing seeds of Lavandula Lavender Vera on moist seed compost. Planting them in water will cause the plants to rot. Put a sprinkling of vermiculite or finely sieved compost on top of the seeds. Seed trays can be sealed in clear polythene bags or placed in propagators for up to 21 days at a temperature of 21-25°C for germination. The compost should remain damp but not wet, and light should not be excluded since it aids germination. Transplant the seedlings into 7.5-cm pots and grow lavender plants at a cooler temperature until well established.

You should water your Lavender Vera plants regularly until they are established during the first growing season. Dry, hot weather is especially important during this time. Once lavender plants have established themselves, drought tolerance is fairly good. Free-draining soil and full sun are ideal for lavender. The roots of a well-established plant can withstand both chalky soil and dry conditions. Having a seedling grow into a plant is not a big deal when it comes to caring for Lavender Vera.
