How to sow and care for Parsley Seeds

Parsley seeds have a low germination rate, so you may want to soak the seeds overnight to increase the chances of success. Parsley grows best in well-draining soil with a high organic matter concentration. Plant it in a spot that receives 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight each day. When you choose a weed-free area, the parsley will sprout in approximately three weeks. The gaps between the parsley seeds can be filled with radish seeds. Radishes will begin to sprout and grow before parsley, and radishes will mark the row. During the summer, keep parsley plants adequately moist, especially when temperatures are high. Mulch the plants with a light layer of soil to conserve moisture.
